Take us With You! Listen on Your Cellphone:| Blackberry Podcast | Tune In (Live) | Wunderradio (Live) Our uncensored talk show has a 4-person panel that discusses everything from parenting to politics, race to relationships, love, life, sports, sex and all things in between. We try to give people what they want with our genuine opinions and expressions. The show's goal is to be informative as well as entertaining while remaining authentic and relevant to its listeners. The Green Chimp Show is where Real Talk Meets Radio. After being asked on so many occasions how he comes up with the some of the crazy things he says on Facebook, D. Wright responded to a friend by stating, "I have a Green Chimp that sits in the corner of my office, smoking cigarettes that tells me what to say." That was his story and he was sticking to it. Eventually, those Facebook statuses became a blog entitled, "Things The Green Chimp Tells Me To Say" (thegreenchimp.blogspot.com). One day while he was eating lunch with co-workers, a friend asked about a sports team, he gave his opinion, and people standing around listening said it sounded like they were listening to the radio. The light bulb went off and he decided to grab a few friends and started The Green Chimp Show. Because of his immutable candor and his "tell it like it is" approach to discussions, D. Wright is often "the guy you love to hate". Don't expect any sugar-coating or niceties from D. Wright, he's just not wired that way. Miss Chernean
Miss Chernean joined the show after the 3 male co-hosts put out a call for a female counterpart to join their shenanigans. From day one she has been the perfect female yin to the chauvinistic males' yang. Miss Chernean typically serves as the voice of reason, but she is not your average soccer mom. On the outside she's prissy and girly but she thinks like a football coach in a locker room. She is a good girl with a mean streak, but seems more like a mean girl with a good streak. You don't want to get on her bad side(s). When she's in "good girl" mode and working in her capacity as Community Outreach Liaison, however, she is responsible for all of The Green Chimp Show's community outreach activities from feeding the hungry and homeless to volunteering time with children's organizations. Big PaceTrucker by day; Court Jester by night. Big Pace was originally tapped to serve the show in a technical capacity because of his experience with audio software and equipment from his long stint as rapper, Big Boi Pace of Foxhall Family and FullDec Entertainment. However, his off-the-cuff commentary and his hilarious "Pace-a-phors" (listen to the show for clarification) have made him a permanent fixture and fan favorite on the show. He finds a way to bring comedy into any situation with a left-field comment that makes you laugh and say, "Whoa, that's SO stupid, but it makes sense at the same time." As the shows Musical Content Director, Big Pace is also responsible for coordinating all of the great music that the show's listeners enjoy throughout the show.
Chuck Jones aka "The Homie Chuck" A long time friend of D.Wright's, Chuck was actually the very first caller of The Green Chimp Show. The call lasted nearly the entire show; partially because of Chuck's long-windedness, but mostly because of the electric chemistry that sparked between Chuck, Big Pace, and D. Wright. The Homie Chuck brings a reformed prisoner's intellect to the show, although he has never been to prison. He knows something about everything but knows nothing about anything. He abuses the English language like nobody's business. "One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish...". Ironically enough, Chuck is also the show's News Director/Editor...go figure.
